Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How can I meet people?

A. NLCC has Life Groups that meet during the week at the church building and in homes. This is a great way to meet others, in a relaxed, casual atmosphere, where it is safe to be yourself and share with others. The small groups talk about life questions and the Bible's answers. This is also a place to receive and offer up prayer.

Q. Is there a dress code?

A. Dress comfortably. Our serves are casual so come as you like. Some people dress more formally, while others wear blue jeans and tee-shirts. Just come as you are and experience new life.

Q. How do I become a partner?

A. For those who desire to become partners, we offer our, New Life Partnership Classes. These classes explain what we believe, who we are, our vision and values, and how to become an active partner.

Q. What does NLCC believe about baptism?

A. Baptism is one of the two ordinances we observe as a church (the other is the Lord's Supper, or communion). We believe that baptism is the outward confession of an inward change. Baptism does not "save" you and should be done as an act of obedience to God once you have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Q. Do you perform child dedications?

A. Yes. As believers, we dedicate our children to God as a sign of our commitment to train them in the ways of the Lord. When you dedicate your children, you are affirming that God has given your children to you as a gift and Jesus is the truth, the way and the life for your child.
